Established in 2016, Raeye Children Aid (RCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to offering education and empowerment for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. RCA's mission

Established in 2016, Raeye Children Aid (RCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to offering education and empowerment for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. RCA's mission is to provide access to education, vocational training, and therapeutic programs to children of all ages. With a strong focus on education, RCA provides school supplies for children enrolled in public schools in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It has supported 126 students to date. RCA aims to equip children with the skills they need to succeed in school, develop strong careers, and become active members of their communities. In pursuit of this goal, the organization has established the Raeye Technology program. This program focuses on advancing equity in computer science and STEM education for K-12 students. This initiative aims to inspire and empower students with special needs through an inclusive learning environment that utilizes virtual technology. To date, the Raeye Technology program has successfully completed seven rounds of coding classes for approximately 200 students in the United States. The organization is now proposing to expand this initiative to Ethiopia, to empower even more children with special needs through technology. By working with neglected children in our society, RCA hopes to uplift their futures and provide them with a positive vision for their lives.
